Child Trafficking In Nigeria;in the name of househelps

Trafficking can be defined as

the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or
receipt of persons, by means of the threat or use of
force or other forms of coercion, of abduction, of fraud,
of deception, of the abuse of power or of a position of
vulnerability or of the giving or receiving of payments or
benefits to achieve the consent of a person having
control over another person, for the purpose of
exploitation. Exploitation shall include, at a minimum,
the exploitation of the prostitution of others or other
forms of sexual exploitation, forced labour or services,
slavery or practices similar to slavery, servitude or the removal of organs.

According to UN there are 15million children engaged in child labour in Nigeria alone;what hurts me most is dat you will find kids as little as six years old been domestic helps,i cannot even imagine the mindset of such child at dat tender age made to do chores far above their ages,with no parental love,care or guidance.

Why wont they be upsurges of crime,prostitution and indecency in the society,when kids are  forcefully made to grow  & behave like adults,when they should still be kids.It starts from this little ones,parents, guardians,and society at large  should pay more attention to this children cause they are the future and adults of tomorrow
